After swallowing the Griseous Orb fragment, Dragapult had stayed in the Ghost-type pavilion to rest.
Had anything changed?
Dragapult did not seem to feel anything, but the first signs had already appeared in its strength.
Dragapult had reached Elite Four level, and Mid Elite Four at that.
There was probably no Pokémon better suited to the Griseous Orb fragment than Dragapult.
After all, it was a Ghost/Dragon type just like Giratina, earning it the nickname "little Giratina."
Moreover, Dragapult could learn Phantom Force.
With some luck, it might learn Giratina's signature move, Shadow Force, from the Griseous Orb fragment.
Shadow Force was faster, more powerful, and could bypass moves like Protect.
Though Phantom Force could bypass Protect too.
But with its combination of speed and power, Shadow Force was an outright killing move.
For Dragapult, already a high-speed assassin, Shadow Force was simply a perfect fit.
If it could learn Shadow Force, the move would play a major role in next year's Master League.
Using Protect, huh?

Aside from checking on Dragapult,
Li Wei had also come to bury the Ghost-type Spooky Plate.
Li Wei planned to lay this Plate to rest permanently in a simulated graveyard within the Ghost-type pavilion.
He hoped the Plate would become the foundation of this place, providing a more comfortable home for the Ghost-type Pokémon living here.
Li Wei now had five of Arceus's Type Plates: Ground, Steel, Water, Dragon, and Ghost.
Of course, he was still some way from the eighteen Type Plates he wanted.
If he could gather all eighteen Type Plates, then combine them with Jirachi's meteorite energy and Cresselia's pleasant dream energy...
