Professor Oak only wanted to use the video to study how Arceus switched Plates.
After learning that Arceus had granted Li Wei the power of overcoming, and that Li Wei could contact Arceus...
Professor Oak couldn't help asking Li Wei,
"If Arceus appears again, could you take me to meet it?"
Li Wei agreed without hesitation,
"Of course."
Professor Oak was surprised by how readily Li Wei agreed.
"Thank you, Li Wei."
"You're too kind. It's no trouble at all. I think Arceus would really like you."
Just as Arceus liked Ash, it would also like Professor Oak, who knew him.
Li Wei felt that Pallet Town had a legacy passed down from Professor Oak to Red and Blue, and then to Ash.
Or rather, it was because of people like Professor Oak that Pallet Town had such a legacy.
As long as Arceus stayed in Michina a little longer, arranging for Professor Oak to meet it would be no trouble.
In fact, Arceus probably wouldn't stay exclusively in Michina.
If Arceus visited the Kanto Region one day, Li Wei could introduce Professor Oak to it then, too.
Besides that, Professor Oak had another request: to study Li Wei's power of overcoming.
Li Wei agreed to that as well, though he had no idea how Professor Oak intended to study it.
There was no rush. They had plans to gather for a meal at Li Wei's home at the end of the year, and the research could wait until then.
