After Li Wei expressed his wish to learn about the legend of Victini, Town Mayor Momondo brought them to the study.

Iris put her hands on her hips and complained, "Honestly, Ash, you're still such a little kid."
Cynthia couldn't help smiling. "That's all right. Just think of it as the earth having power."
Town Mayor Momondo continued his explanation.
"Using the power of the dragon vein, the king created a kingdom in the Land of the Earth where humans and Pokémon lived in harmony."
The king had twin sons, both princes blessed with wisdom and courage.
Their truth and ideals earned the recognition of Reshiram and Zekrom, respectively.
Ash's eyes widened in surprise. "They earned Reshiram and Zekrom's recognition?"
Momondo nodded. "Because Zekrom and Reshiram recognized them, the two princes were also known as the Hero of Ideals and the Hero of Truth!"
