"Don't like it? Isn't there some of the little water chestnut wontons Mom made you in your Wristband?"
Gu Cheng closed his fingers around Ye Ruan's wrist.
"Look how thin this is. It's even thinner than when we first met."

"I can't eat. None of this tastes like anything."
A single flashlight lit the Luggage Compartment. Ye Ruan's figure was hidden in the dimness, with only his red eyes gleaming.
There was love in the way he looked at Gu Cheng... but a trace of hunger, too.
"Want to bite me? Come on, then." Gu Cheng beckoned to Ye Ruan.
"No... I won't bite you." Ye Ruan shook his head solemnly.
Gu Cheng held back a laugh and went on eating.
A moment later, Ye Ruan quietly inched closer to Gu Cheng.
He thought he was being subtle, but Gu Cheng saw every move he made.
Suddenly, Ye Ruan pounced!
Gu Cheng opened his arms at just the right moment, caught him, then rolled over and pinned the little bunny beneath him.
They knocked into the flashlight as they moved. It rolled a few times across the stainless steel floor, casting its light over Ye Ruan's cheek.
The glare made Ye Ruan turn his head and close his eyes.
Only in the light did Gu Cheng realize that the black lines had already reached his neck.
Several black lines now marked his once slender, pale neck.
"The virus is spreading faster."
