Inside the room.
When they first entered the apartment, Mo Yu had already surveyed the overall layout.
The spacious living room held little furniture or clutter. The few odds and ends were all piled on shelves by the windows, completely blocking both windows from view.
This cramped room was even worse.
The window had been sealed shut, completely covered in cement.
Though the room looked neat and clean, it was steeped in a thick, choking stench of blood.
Meng Yizhi covered his nose and squinted around the room before saying uncertainly,
"Isn't this a little too obvious? Someone definitely died in here..."
Little Pink stood by the door, still afraid to make any rash moves, while Sheng Ziyao had already rolled up his sleeves and begun a meticulous search.

The bed was neatly made, and a battered radio hung at its head. Apparently, this had been the child's only entertainment each night.
After searching for some time, Sheng Ziyao stood beside the bed and thought for a long while, his lips pressed into a straight line. Under Meng Yizhi's expectant gaze, he shook his head.
"There's something wrong with this room."
Meng Yizhi: "..."
Get lost!
I think there's something wrong with your brain!!!
What on earth had made him expect anything from Sheng Ziyao?
Fuming, the pink-haired young man swept out an arm and shoved him
