The thrilling, nerve-racking night flew by.
By the time they emerged from the dream, dawn was breaking. The mist over the sea was thin enough that they could just make out the dock onshore.

Everyone around them was either asleep or passed out. No one noticed that someone had set off to meet his maker.
Amused, Shen Ru crouched beside the pool and quietly watched, waiting to see when the surface would finally go still.
"You won't blame me for turning a blind eye, will you, President Mo?"
The man lowered his eyes, looking at Sheng Ziyao in the pool, and said cryptically, "Of course not."
To his credit, Sheng Ziyao managed to shoot upright a second before his oxygen ran out and started coughing desperately.
Little Blondie's first thought upon regaining his senses was: I'm screwed.
Only after coughing until he saw stars did he instinctively look around, meeting a pair of smiling red eyes.
Guilt over helping his boss deceive Shen Ru last night suddenly surged through him, and he stammered out a greeting:
"S-sis-in-law."
Shen Ru smiled faintly and gently patted Sheng Ziyao's soaking-wet head, asking softly:
"Which instance is Gu Changming entering next?"
