The rain had cleared, and Full Moon Night had arrived.

According to the clues they had found earlier, the dead Viscount's ghost would reappear in the world. This night could prove extremely dangerous.

The players wore grave expressions, each wondering whether the clues they had uncovered offered a way to survive.

Wei Yanchi watched the moonlight outside illuminate the coffin-like village. He gazed ahead, but could not see the distant Castle, only the hillside obscuring it and the skeletal trees that looked like ghosts.

His eyesight was sharp enough to catch a zombie flashing through the dead woods.

They closed the door, blew out the kerosene lamp, and waited quietly.

They heard the wind howling outside. Indistinct screams mingled with the rainwater left by the storm, dripping from the eaves, each drop striking their hearts. At some point, even their breathing had grown as loud as their heartbeats.

They waited a while.

Wei Yanchi said, "Maybe the dangerous place on Full Moon Night is inside the Castle. The information is in there too."

Zhang Ninde froze. "You want to go into the Castle?"

"Yes."

The trio shook their heads in unison. "It's too dangerous. We're not going."

Zhang Ninde swallowed. "Could you please treat my life like it matters?"

"Ah."

Seeing their reactions, Wei Yanchi sighed and gave the four of them a kindly smile. "I'm afraid that's not up to you."

He folded his hands on the table and said with a look of innocence, "If none of you go, you'll just be trapped here forever. This instance clearly isn't going to hand us any clues. It's been so long, and on what's supposedly the most dangerous night, we haven't even seen any danger come looking for us. Maybe we can retire here."

Lin Darong glanced at Lin Zhenyue.
