The train kept moving. Over the next few days, they passed through rolling green mountains, watching the scenery outside along the way.
The dry Gobi Desert stretched as far as the eye could see, dotted with sparse, unidentified greenery. Striking rows of poplars stood against the wind and sand like sentries.
Giant wind turbines towered over the desert, and solar panels carpeted the ground, likewise stretching beyond sight. The charging stations linked along the route spoke of a grand human endeavor undaunted by the harsh natural environment.

Golden rapeseed flowers formed vast, unbroken fields, filling the air with their sweet fragrance. Even the equally expansive fields of sunflowers beside them could not compete with their sunny brilliance.
Unfortunately, none of these places was the train's final destination.
The train finally stopped at a desolate station, surrounded by barren, saline soil. A few dusty trucks were parked outside. Low-growing spurges dotted the ground, and cacti were visible in the distance.
