Ghosts in military uniforms slaughtered devils from Hell, blades clanging against blades, gunfire delivering explosive destruction...
Xie De's face grew paler. He clutched the point where his mechanical hand joined his arm. Expanding his domain tugged at every nerve in his body, and the piercing phantom pain that struck just then made him want to chop the hand off with a knife.
The uniformed ghosts were at a slight disadvantage against the devils from Hell. The two domains tore at each other and collided with ferocious intensity.
Asmodeus approached Xie De step by step. As though determined to break his spirit before killing him, he swept his right hand, and a convex surface resembling a crystal ball appeared above the warehouse.
Enduring the phantom pain, Xie De looked up. The scene on the crystal ball was brutally cruel. It showed a city from Instance: Mirror.

The scene changed again.
It was Hell. Towering flames erupted from the ground, and the golden Giant Dragon's furious roars echoed across the wilderness. More horrifying still was his body, corroded by magma until his bones lay exposed.
Belial and Mammon shrieked with laughter.
Their laughter climbed upward, as though it would engulf the world beneath the first light of dawn.
With a gentle flick of Asmodeus's finger, the scene in the crystal ball became a black, boundless ocean, then a cult ritual, then Desolate Walls and lonely houses, then a single tear...
