The shadow lingered for a while, then slowly bent down.
As the angle changed, the moonlight illuminated a little of its face.

Its proportions were rather realistic, with long, slender limbs unlike those of the other stuffed animals, but its head was distinctly cartoonish. Paired with its pale pink fur, the head alone might even have looked cute, yet the combination gave it an eerie sense of incongruity.
An eerie gleam reflected in the stuffed animal's pitch-black eyes. After meeting Ji Xie's gaze inside the room, it raised a hand and pressed it against the glass.
Even its hands had five distinct fingers.
Ji Xie narrowed his eyes, giving the stuffed animal outside the window a warning look. It ignored him, shifted its gaze away, and reached for the window-

Silently displeased by the stuffed animal's failure to take the hint, Ji Xie glanced down at Li Xian, who was still asleep.

The giant Doll Rabbit had already grabbed the window frame and looked ready to push the window open.
Ji Xie began trying to move Li Xian off his chest and slowly lay him on the bed beside him. Despite his gentle movements, Li Xian still woke up.
