Li Xian's hand paused as he dried Ji Xie's hair. Only then did he realize that, while his mind had wandered, he had unwittingly dried it completely.
He drew the towel back into his hands, but just as he was about to get off the bed, Ji Xie caught his wrist.
Ji Xie took the towel from Li Xian's hands. Only the surface of his hair had gotten wet, so even after all that drying, the towel barely felt damp.
Li Xian's hair, on the other hand, was much wetter than Ji Xie's because he had showered. He had changed in such a hurry earlier that he hadn't dried it properly.
"Don't move."
Ji Xie held Li Xian down as he tried to rise, making him sit back on the bed under his puzzled gaze. Then Ji Xie stood up and began "returning the favor."
His movements were much more efficient. Before Li Xian could refuse, he brazenly draped the towel over his head and began rubbing, leaving them facing each other.
Li Xian stole a look at Ji Xie, who was concentrating on drying his hair. Then he suddenly remembered something and asked:
"How did you know there was danger in the bathroom?"
Ji Xie's hands paused, and his gaze shifted from Li Xian's hair to his face.
Just as the man on the deck had said, he really did look much younger.
Looking at that face, Ji Xie felt that telling the truth and revealing his identity would frighten him. After a moment's thought, he made up a lie:
"Pure coincidence."
"Coincidence?"
Li Xian frowned, clearly unconvinced by that explanation:
"Then why did you suddenly come in...?"
Ji Xie took the towel off Li Xian's head and tossed it aside, then leaned close to his face and flashed
