Ke Yi was baffled and could only assume Ji Xie was deliberately trying to get on his nerves:
"How is it too late?"
Ji Xie looked up without a word.
So Ke Yi simply treated his words as bullshit and turned to assign tasks.
But Li Xian, who had been watching Ji Xie's movements all along, suddenly agreed. "It really is too late."
Ke Yi frowned and grew a little more serious, noticing that Li Xian had followed Ji Xie's gaze in the same direction:
"Look at the sun."
At Li Xian's words, everyone looked up and discovered that the sun, which had been high overhead, had actually sunk toward the other side of the ship.
"What..."
Ke Yi was stunned. Then, realizing something, he immediately turned and opened the nearest door, looking up at the clock on the wall-
Dawn had barely broken when they entered the instance. Exploring the ship, experiencing the fog, and their recent discussion had felt like only a few hours altogether. Normally, it should only just have been noon...
