Li Xian investigated the curse surrounding Class 32 while surviving its apparitions and uncovering the story of Xie Zhi. The stretch left him searching for the meaning of the Green-Dress Woman’s recorded cry as he prepared to meet Teacher Shang and Deng Hanyu.

• Li Xian discovered that students avoided Class 32, found mangled corpses in the dormitory, and warned Qian Chen away from Bed Four before Zhao Minghua died after seeing a crying woman.
• The players learned not to look at the Green-Dressed Girl, and Li Xian reconnected with Ji Xie, who explained that the school shunned Class 32 as cursed.
• Li Xian and Jiang Qiuyue investigated online and learned that Xie Zhi and Deng Hanyu were missing from the dormitory register, so Li Xian disguised himself as a woman to meet Deng Hanyu.
• Deng Hanyu traced Class 32’s curse to Xie Zhi’s affair with Teacher Shang, her stolen calculus exam, and her later leap from a school building, while Xie Zhi’s hand appeared beneath their bench.
• Jia Ruiyao died after Fly People broke into the dorm, and Li Xian suspected dried blood on his hand was connected to the death.
• Ji Xie grew jealous of Li Xian’s contact with Deng Hanyu, then helped him survive a nightlong pursuit by the Fly People, who stopped near Xie Zhi in the restroom.
• Li Xian shared a recording of the Green-Dress Woman’s sobbing with the players, and they suspected its strange sound was the word “Lu,” though no matching surname appeared on the class roster.

Li Xian uncovered how Deng Hanyu had framed Xie Zhi and brought the truth before them, allowing the dead students to find closure and clearing the Instance with its true ending. After the group logged out, the Veil of Eternal Night showed Li Xian a vision of his parents discussing a project and his right to choose whether to bear its responsibility.

• Li Xian discovered Xu Loubai had stayed silent while classmates ostracized Xie Zhi, and blood appeared on Xu Loubai, Jiang Qiuyue, and Qian Chen as the group tried to escape the dormitory.
• Li Xian enlisted Zhai Shu and a classmate to help the group, then used Deng Hanyu’s phone to contact Teacher Shang and brought him into the school.
• During a Fly Person attack, Xie Zhi appeared to Li Xian, and Xu Loubai told Teacher Shang that Xie Zhi had died by suicide after returning to school and enduring harassment.
• Li Xian found Deng Hanyu among the Fly People and later forced him to confess that he had arranged Teacher Shang’s tutoring, spread rumors, planted an exam paper, and lied to both of them.
• Xie Zhi and Teacher Shang confronted Deng Hanyu, who admitted his jealousy, while Ji Xie silenced the Fly People and made Deng Hanyu reveal that his parents’ comparisons with Teacher Shang had driven him to harm his cousin.
• Li Xian completed the “Atonement” objective, and Xie Zhi deleted the unreleased recording about Deng Hanyu’s motive before fading away, and the Instance announced the true ending, Malice, and awarded Li Xian a fivefold points multiplier for his streak.
• After the other players logged out, the Veil of Eternal Night showed Li Xian a vision of Li Yuanqing and Song Zhi discussing a project and agreeing that he should choose whether to take on its responsibility.

Li Xian joined Song Qingzhang and Jiang Qiuyue in an S-Rank Instance where children were hunted by dolls and the town’s parents resembled real people. After uncovering clues and revealing his past to Ji Xie, Li Xian faced a player group plotting to seize his item.

• Li Xian welcomed Song Qingzhang into the White Night Guild, and Ji Xie explained that the Veil of Eternal Night had shown Li Xian a real memory of his parents.
• Li Xian, Song Qingzhang, and Jiang Qiuyue entered the Toy Factory Instance, where Li Xian appeared as a child in his childhood home and found a flyer recruiting children for the factory.
• Li Xian led Song Qingzhang and Jiang Qiuyue through the dolls’ hide-and-seek game, and the group discovered that the dolls attacked players who were caught.
• Li Xian visited Ji Xie, who posed as a toy while they investigated the town, and Li Xian learned that the parent NPCs were based on real people.
• Li Xian and Ji Xie fought off the Doll Bears with water, and the old woman gave Li Xian a needle and black thread she called contraband.
• Li Yuanqing took Li Xian home, where Li Xian revealed to Ji Xie that his parents had died in a car accident and that he had entered this world after cutting his carotid artery.
• A Doll Rabbit attacked Li Xian’s room, while small dolls carried Mushroom-Head Woman toward the Toy Factory, and the next morning, Jiang Yu rallied players against Li Xian’s group to take his item.
