Returning Ruins Sea

Beo secretly placed the Bone Tree in the Returning Ruins Sea as a covert asset. Using it as a communications network and foothold for his Divine Kingdom, he recruited Xue Yan to lead the Divine Kingdom's expansion among the islands. He presented the Virtual Divine Kingdom as [Evil Fall]'s path to surpassing the “Network.” 669 674

He viewed the Divine Kingdom as an overwhelming advantage against martial artists: beings entering it would exist only as True Spirits, while Beo's side operated as data. This confidence collapsed when Li Qingshan, as the Formless Sky Demon, assaulted the kingdom and destroyed Beo's backup body. 676 689 692

Interest in Xie Sen

After reconstituting himself, Beo investigated Xie Sen, extracting and reviewing his memories of the Returning Ruins Sea. He became interested in Xie Sen's repeated survival and apparent fortune, though he also considered him a dangerous “cursed lone star.” 693 704 722

Beo rewove Xie Sen's memories to conceal their prior encounter from Lord Youming. After learning that the Formless Sky Demon had destroyed the Evil Horn Tribe's Ancestral Land, he sent Xie Sen far away rather than keep him nearby or kill him. 722

Conflict with the Formless Sky Demon

Beo initially attributed the Divine Kingdom's destruction to interference from the “Network,” but eventually accepted that Li Qingshan was responsible. He advised Netherworld to use the Cosmic Demon Sealing Record against the Formless Sky Demon, while remaining wary of directly confronting Li Qingshan himself. 725 760

As Li Qingshan's strength escalated, Beo repeatedly revised his assessment of him—from an insignificant Eighth-Order human to an opponent able to overturn Netherworld's domain and threaten the gods' order. 760 828

Joining the Ancient Hall

Destiny recognized Beo's potential to become Ancient and revealed that a Proxy's Throne was an Authority Fragment granted—and reclaimable—by its god. Faced with the choice of refining his Leaf Realm Divine Kingdom or becoming material himself, Beo chose to defy [Evil Fall] and pursue true ancient status. 774 836 859

Beo spent nine thousand years unsuccessfully smelting the Leaf Realm Divine Kingdom at the Dingwei Tuple Point. Destiny later moved him to the Alpha Tuple Point and disclosed a future opportunity to acquire Authority Fragments directly. 859 862

Li Qingshan's arrival at the Ancient Hall as an Ancient One shattered Beo's expectation that he would surpass him first. Beo subsequently aligned himself with Li Qingshan against Lang Yu, largely because he considered Li Qingshan the more immediate threat. 876 880

Li Qingshan later offered Beo an ownerless Authority Fragment carrying “Eternal” aura and revealed his true target: [Evil Fall] and its Abyss. Though terrified by the prospect of opposing his former Divine Master, Beo accepted the plan. 903 904
