• Lin Hao confronted Shrek over its attack on his caravan, and Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo killed Yu Tianheng and several others before Tang Hao escaped with Tang San.

Lin Hao acquired powerful allies and divine trials while Qian Renxue’s attempt to take the Heaven Dou throne collapsed under Tang Chen’s intervention. The arc leaves Lin Hao and Dugu Yan beginning their divine trials as Tang San sets out for Sea God Island.

• After days of torture, Yu Xiaogang swore brotherhood with Brother Scarface, Brother Long, and Brother Jie, while Lin Hao accepted Dai Tianfeng’s apology gifts and Zhu Zhuqing received her father’s support.
• Lin Hao reached rank seventy-eight, sought the Goddess of Life’s inheritance, and entered Slaughter City, where he met Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan.
• Lin Hao and his companions won their hundredth matches and passed Hell Road, where Lin Hao killed the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent and gained Divine Slaughter’s Domain.
• Lin Hao stopped Tang Hao and Tang San from entering Slaughter City, then gave the serpent’s core to Dugu Yan, evolving her Martial Soul and raising her to level sixty.

Lin Hao helped Shui Bing'er advance through the Sea God's trials while completing his own trials and growing stronger through powerful Soul Beast hunts. The arc left Lin Hao at level 99 with a new second martial soul and a path toward the demigod realm still ahead.

• Lin Hao brought Shui Bing'er to Sea God Island, where she received the Sea God's Nine Trials and began climbing the steps under the Sea God's Light.
• Lin Hao hunted powerful sea beasts, collected soul bones, reached level 96, and helped Shui Bing'er defeat the Evil Orca King and pass her trials against the Sacred Pillar Guardians and Bo Saixi.
• Shui Bing'er pulled out the Sea God Trident and learned that her next trial required her to become a Titled Douluo and kill the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King.
• Lin Hao returned to Spirit City and joined Qian Renxue, who had inherited the Angel Godhood, on an expedition to obtain the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm.
• The Sky Dream Ice Silkworm sacrificed himself to become Lin Hao's Ice Jade Glazed Body second martial soul, then took possession of an Ice Jade Scorpion body in the Far North.
• Lin Hao and Qian Renxue killed the Titan Snow Demon King, and Lin Hao later persuaded Er Ming, Da Ming, a Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear, and Bi Ji to sacrifice themselves, bringing him to level 99.
