Bits of rubble were still pattering down from the ceiling. Dust filled the air, shrouding the entire courtyard like a thin gray veil.
The enormous figure hovering in midair remained seated cross-legged, its crimson eyes looking down through the dust as though watching a few ants that did not know their place.
