The next day, at 12:23 p.m.

Kenjaku and Uraume stepped into the Culling Game's barrier.

Tokyo No. 2 Colony. The light amid the ruins was gray and dim, as though filtered through a layer of dust that could never be washed away.

"I went to quite a lot of trouble to find all this for you." Kenjaku looked at Sukuna, who had been waiting for some time, and tossed five fingers over. They traced dark red arcs through the air before landing in Sukuna's hand.

Then a cursed spirit behind him opened its enormous mouth and disgorged a pile of cursed objects from deep within its throat: Sukuna's mummified body, the cursed womb: death paintings, and assorted other objects radiating ancient cursed energy. They lay heaped among the rubble like a little grave.

"Heh." Sukuna bent down and picked up his own mummified body, rubbing his thumb over the dried creases on its face. His lips twitched. "Who would have thought people would worship my body after I died? How strange."

He set the mummy down and swept his gaze over the pile of cursed objects.

"Plenty of cursed objects I've never seen before. I didn't expect anyone besides me to have finger-shaped cursed objects." He reached toward a dark blue-green cursed object shaped like a withered finger.

The instant his fingertips touched it, invisible sword energy shredded his hand, bones and all, into bloody mist. Scraps of flesh and bone fell to the ground like minced tofu. Sukuna narrowed his eyes. Reverse Cursed Technique activated at the stump, reforming flesh and bone. Skin grew inward from either side, and in the blink of an eye, a perfectly intact hand had regrown. He shook off the lingering blood, his brow creasing slightly.

"How irritating. What the hell is this thing?"
