[Chūya Nakahara's words had clearly also caught the attention of the two people who had just come in from outside.
They spotted Chūya Nakahara and Osamu Dazai at the same time and jogged over.
"Chūya. We finally found you."
The White-Haired Boy spoke first and reached Chūya Nakahara's side ahead of the other person.
"You're both all right."
"Akira, Shōgo, and the others were captured by the Port Mafia. We need to storm their base right away and teach them a lesson."
"Just like before."]
"Storm what?" Nobara Kugisaki murmured in confusion.
"The Port Mafia," Yuji Itadori answered uncertainly as he looked at the subtitles above.
"If I remember correctly, wasn't Mr. Nakahara threatened because of the Sheep members, which was why he ended up investigating this incident with them?"
Nobara Kugisaki looked thoughtful, then glanced blankly at her classmate, who looked just as blankly back at her.
If she had to put a name to this behavior, she would call it having a death wish.
Storming the Port Mafia's base under these circumstances would be tantamount to trying to grind their pride into the dirt.
If the Port Mafia's Headquarters really were invaded by an organization of minors, and that invasion actually succeeded, they might as well shut the whole operation down. Changing careers sooner would at least let them live a little longer.
But no matter how she thought about it, that seemed impossible.
"They've got plenty of ambition. The question is whether they have the strength to back it up."
Toji Zenin chimed in without a care, then kicked his feet up onto the table in front of him again.
He leaned all the way back, watching the screen before him at his leisure.
["Don't worry. I'm handling it." Sitting alone on the bench, Chūya Nakahara suppressed his agitation as he addressed the two of them.
"You're already working on it?"
"Yes, he's working on it." Osamu Dazai's voice abruptly cut into their conversation.
"Hm?" That successfully drew the attention of the two people who had either failed to see Osamu Dazai or simply hadn't noticed him.
Osamu Dazai smiled at the two of them, now that their eyes were on him.
"Tell me what you've found out about Arahabaki, would you?"
"Do you know anything?"
Those words left Shirase and Yuan confused and suspicious.
"Who's this guy?"
"Someone who wants to join the Sheep?"
"More or less."
Chūya Nakahara glanced at Osamu Dazai standing beside him and decisively tried to bluff his way past Shirase and Yuan's questions.
"Sorry for the trouble, but tell him what you know. Please."
"Okay." Shirase thought for a moment, nodded, and turned back toward Osamu Dazai, who was still smiling.
"According to our investigation, reports of sightings of black flames and the Port Mafia's former Boss have surged over the past week."
"What was the earliest rumor you found?"
"About eight years ago, near the end of the war, there was an explosion that created Suribachi City. Before that, we never heard of Arahabaki hurting anyone."
"Just as I thought." Osamu Dazai looked as though he had it all figured out.]
"So, what has he figured out now?"
Even as a mere spectator, trying to guess Osamu Dazai's intentions was quite a headache.
Even when trying to analyze someone from a completely impartial position.
-The fever fried my brain, and I woke up a little late. This chapter is ten thousand characters long, and there's only an hour left, which isn't quite enough. I'll finish it after midnight, so it'll definitely be up tomorrow morning.
