All three of them grew a little more serious.
But before they could discuss their next move, a middle-aged biker in a white suit walked over to their table.
The Divine Dogs sniffed the air, their gazes turning wary.
Meanwhile, Long Xi was about to take another sip of his drink.
Whether deliberately or by accident, the man behind him walked straight into Long Xi's chair.
The drink in Long Xi's hand spilled onto the man, and Long Xi's expression darkened.
But before he could say anything, the biker in the white suit grabbed at his jacket and started cursing.
"***, what the hell are you doing?!"
"Huh?!"
Megumi Fushiguro had already noticed the Divine Dogs' strange behavior, but he still couldn't tell whether the man before them was the source of the curse.
While he was still thinking it over, the middle-aged biker grabbed Long Xi's clothes and shouted.
"You little brat! Look what you've done! Can you even afford to pay for this?!"
"This suit cost 400,000 yen!"
"Get outside!"
Huh? This guy's the enemy, isn't he?!
Long Xi's expression hardened. He, too, had instantly sensed the cursed aura on the man.
Damn cursed spirit! You actually disguised yourself as a passerby!
If my senses weren't so sharp, you might really have gotten away with it!
Without another word, Long Xi turned the little drink left in his hand into a weapon and drove his elbow into the man's chin.
The man didn't react in time at all. The heavy blow left his head spinning.
He finally crashed to the ground, and Long Xi crouched down, staring at him gravely!
"You're a cursed spirit, aren't you?"
Itadori instantly joined in!
"Nani?!"
Without a moment's thought, he and Long Xi formed a united front.
Although he couldn't sense anything strange about the man the way the other two could, his senior had told him all he needed to do was stick with the team.
Because trust needed no explanation!
"You're the enemy, right? You're the enemy!!!"
They attacked as they spoke. Though both held back, their alternating kicks still came from bodies far beyond ordinary human limits.
They could certainly do plenty of damage.
Almost without thinking, the two even supplied the same sound effects, shouting "Ora, ora!" as they pummeled him.
The only reasonably calm member of the trio, Megumi Fushiguro, also looked grim. Suppressing his thoughts, he took a sip of his mildly alcoholic drink.
"What a terrifying cursed spirit. Even Itadori's physical strength hasn't beaten it back into its true form?!"
Megumi Fushiguro was now completely certain about the fellow before them!
He's a cursed spirit!
Even if the Divine Dogs' noses could be wrong, Long Xi's senses definitely couldn't!
Not to mention, he hasn't made a sound after all those blows from Itadori. One look tells you he's one of those evil Grade 2 Cursed Spirits!
So when facing a cursed spirit like this, of course we should-!
"Ora! Ora! Ora!"
The Jujutsu High trio formed a circle and gave the poor middle-aged biker a massage with the soles of their shoes!
Long Xi and Itadori flanked him, while Fushiguro himself kicked the hardest!
Even his two large dogs barked furiously from the sidelines!
Their group beatdown proved outstandingly effective! After roughly a dozen seconds of elbow strikes, the Divine Dogs suddenly went quiet for some reason...
Only then did they finally stop attacking.
"Wait, Long Xi, Itadori?"
"This guy doesn't seem to be a cursed spirit."
The two stopped in unison. As they looked at the unconscious middle-aged biker before them, their expressions gradually went blank.
"He's passed out. He looks like an ordinary civilian who was cursed. I guess what we just did counted as removing the curse?"
"What? Really?"
Itadori was the first to voice that soul-searching question, then immediately turned to Long Xi, who had closed his eyes and begun calming his mind.
"Oh, crap! What do we do now?!"
"Are we going to get arrested?!"
Megumi Fushiguro slyly twisted the knife from the sidelines.
"In that case, you're probably the only one who'll get arrested, since Long Xi doesn't have any legal registration..."
"Then what do we do? We can't just leave him here, can we?!"
Having finished calming his mind, Long Xi revealed a wicked expression, like a CEO in a novel who had finally regained his ultimate move.
"This may be pretty unethical, but... anyway, let's exorcise the cursed spirit first!!"
"There's a cursed spirit's residue on him. I can sense it nearby. As for him... the authorities should take care of him. I really am sorry, but this is the only valuable thing I have on me."
Looking at the man lying unconscious at his feet, Long Xi took out the little yen he had in his clothes.
Technically, he'd even used Gojo's card to get it...
Gojo-sensei wouldn't mind, right?
"Is this really okay? Just leaving him here feels a little..."
Yuji Itadori still couldn't quite bring himself to do it.
After all, he had helped injure the man. Leaving him there with a little money as compensation simply wasn't his style.
"Look on the bright side. He was cursed, and that could've killed him. We even gave him money. Round it up, and we're practically his benefactors..."
"Right, let's check the cursed energy residue while we're at it..."
Long Xi's newly acquired cursed technique, Wind of Co-Heaven, was unexpectedly well suited to reconnaissance.
Perhaps... because he already had both single-target attacks and sustained area attacks, he figured he would develop this ability much more extensively for control, reconnaissance, and speed.
So using it to investigate a Grade 2 Cursed Spirit couldn't have been easier...
I have no name. I'm a Grade 2 Cursed Spirit, as ordinary as they come...
I'm two months and thirteen days old. I live in some little corner of Tokyo, though I don't know which one. I have no friends, and by human standards, I suppose I'm unmarried...
Usually, I control people with violent tendencies and make them kill to strengthen me...
Every day, I kill at least one or two people, or have them become my hosts as well. I don't smoke, and I haven't learned to drink alcohol like humans do.
If I had to say, aside from the killing, I think I'm someone who could become a normal human...
But right now, I was experiencing the darkest moment of my entire life...
"So, should we take him to the hospital?"
"Let's not. The mission comes first, after all..."
"If word gets out that you said that, people will say you don't have the Will of Fire!!"
Damn it! Those three! Just looking at their stances, I could tell two of them were terrifyingly strong!!!
As for that black-haired sea urchin...
I didn't need to be too afraid of him. With my strength, I could definitely beat him.
But the other two...
If I went up against them... I'd die, wouldn't I?!
