Ignoring Ōnoki's darkened expression entirely, Shinichi felt a gaze brimming with malice directed at him. It belonged to Fourth Raikage A, who was eyeing him like a predator.
"What? Want another round?"
Shinichi sneered.
The two had held a grudge against each other for a long time, and he had known the Raikage would never treat him kindly. But Shinichi had orchestrated this entire plan himself, and he would not allow anyone to cause trouble at this point.
Faced with Shinichi's blatant threat, the Fourth Raikage's expression turned ugly, but he could only force himself to turn away.
His reaction caught the attention of the other Kage, including Mei Terumi.
Mei Terumi narrowed her beautiful eyes, a dangerous glint flickering within them.
Her reasoning was simple: anyone who gave her man trouble was no good. Meanwhile, Ōnoki and Rasa looked thoughtful, though no one knew what was on their minds.
"That's enough."
Seeing the atmosphere grow tense, Tsunade pulled Shinichi aside and quietly reminded him, "Konoha is hosting this gathering, after all. We can't take things too far. At the end of the day, Kumogakure is still our partner."
"That's your concern as Hokage."
Shinichi replied irritably, "Let's get this straight: I'm only responsible for fighting. If certain people really dare to try anything, I don't mind giving Kumogakure a new Raikage."
He made no attempt to conceal those words. In fact, he spoke quite loudly.
Everyone present heard him clearly.
Mei Terumi gave a charming smile, admiring Shinichi's domineering attitude. Ōnoki and Rasa's expressions shifted slightly. Afraid of earning this menace's resentment, they immediately abandoned many of their original plans.
Needless to say, the Fourth Raikage's face had already turned black as coal.
What Shinichi had done was no different from trampling the Fourth Raikage's dignity into the ground!
