At the dining table, Shinichi chewed a couple of mouthfuls of food and suddenly spoke.
However, Kakashi, Karin, and Naruto acted as if they had heard nothing, continuing to eat their meal.
"Huh?"
Thinking he had spoken too softly, Shinichi raised his voice and said, "I said, I'm leaving the village for a while and getting ready to leave now!"
After a long while, he still failed to get the reaction he wanted.
"Hey! Do you guys treat me like I'm invisible?"
Shinichi immediately flushed with anger.
He had just said he was leaving the village, and not only did these three guys not show any reluctance to part, why weren't they giving him any reaction at all? Could it be that he, the head of the Hatake Clan, now carried no weight in this household whatsoever?
"Shinichi-gii, I seem to remember you've been saying this since half a month ago, and you hadn't even started your leave back then!"
Karin said while counting on her fingers.
"That's right!"
Naruto also yelled, "You pull this little act every day now, you're not giving us any freshness at all!"

Rolling his dead-fish eyes, Kakashi mercilessly roasted, "If you're really going to leave the village, can you hurry up and do it? Just how long have you been dragging this out? If you aren't in a hurry, the readers certainly are. Can't you have even a little bit of planning as a person?"

Shinichi asked, somewhat unwilling to give up.
