Shinichi was busy teaching Naruto when he suddenly saw Kakashi approaching with a helpless look on his face.
Before Kakashi could speak, Shinichi cut him off. "Did the Third Hokage send you to get me again?"
"You know I'm stuck between you two. Why won't you just go see him?"
Kakashi was speechless.
Ever since those outrageous reports had caused an uproar throughout the shinobi world, the Third Hokage had repeatedly ordered him to fetch Shinichi.
Yet a certain someone had stayed holed up at home, too lazy to even step outside his front door.
Whenever Kakashi came to summon him, he would claim he had a headache or a stomachache. He had even concocted the ridiculous excuse that he was on his period and couldn't go out.
With his older brother refusing to see the Third Hokage and the Third Hokage acting as though his hair were on fire, all the pressure had fallen on Kakashi.

He couldn't beat Shinichi in a fight or an argument, so all he could do was stare at him resentfully every day. He looked like such a long-suffering young wife that anyone who saw or heard him would have been moved to tears.
