The Third Hokage sprayed out a mouthful of tea and immediately rose to his feet. "What did you say? Shinichi took Jiraiya to the police force?"
"Yes. Lord Jiraiya was peeping into the women's bathhouse when Lord Shinichi..."
An ANBU member who had witnessed the entire incident nervously explained what had happened.
As the most useful force under the Hokage's command, ANBU always had people watching activity throughout the village.
Unless someone took precautions, it was difficult to escape their eyes.
"Jiraiya, you idiot!"
The Third Hokage cursed, furious at his pupil's disgraceful behavior.
Peeping was bad enough, but he had actually been caught red-handed.
Worst of all, the person who had caught him was the very person the Third Hokage least wanted to see right now.
"Lord Hokage, should we send someone to the police force to bring Lord Jiraiya back?"
The ANBU member asked cautiously.
"Bring him back, my ass!"
The Third Hokage rolled his eyes, speechless. "You think you lot can take someone out of Shinichi's hands? Forget it. This old man will have to go himself!"
Given how difficult Shinichi was to deal with, no one was likely to get Jiraiya out unless he personally intervened.
That brat would not even show Danzo any respect. Why would he show these ANBU any?
If they really angered him, wouldn't he turn all of ANBU upside down?
The Third Hokage could not help silently cursing his hopeless student. Of all the people who could have caught him red-handed, it just had to be Hatake Shinichi.
And so, the Third Hokage arrived at the Konoha Military Police Force, grumbling and cursing the whole way.
First, he saw a helpless-looking Fugaku, then Jiraiya squatting on the floor with his head hanging low. Finally, he spotted a
