Hearing footsteps, Nie Li looked up at him without the slightest surprise, as though he had known all along that he would come.
"Sit." Nie Li pointed to the stool opposite him.
Shen Fei pulled out the stool and sat down. Without beating around the bush, he asked, "What exactly is going on? How did a million-strong beast tide suddenly appear? Have the scouts confirmed it?"
"The Dark Guild is driving the beasts." Nie Li tapped Black Wind Ridge on the northern part of the map. "Their people are hiding behind the horde, using a specially made beast-driving powder to herd the Demon Beasts toward the city.
"The scouts slipped in and confirmed it. The vanguard is mostly Bronze and Silver Rank, roughly five or six hundred thousand, with a dozen or so Black Gold Rank Demon Beasts following behind. There probably aren't any Legend Rank ones farther back."
