After a hair-raising, extraordinarily fierce battle, both sides stood panting where they were, facing each other down.
Xu Mu and the others were covered in dog bites. Blood kept seeping from their wounds, staining their clothes red.
Xu Mu's backside, in particular, had become the Little White Dog Demon's favorite target. Covered in tooth marks both shallow and deep, it was a pitiful sight.
By comparison, the Little White Dog Demon looked far more at ease. Her fur was only slightly dirty,
and aside from that, she did not have a single wound. The gap in their strength was truly astonishing.
"Hmph!"
The Little White Dog Demon gave a crisp, clear snort. Looking fierce in an adorably childish way, she said to Xu Mu and the others,
"What are you doing here again? Haven't you been bitten enough?"
At those words, Xu Mu and the others' expressions instantly turned ugly.
They all clutched their backsides tightly, as though those were their most vulnerable spots, terrified of suffering another savage attack from the Little White Dog Demon.
"Um... would you believe me if I said we were just passing through?"
Xu Mu's eyes darted evasively, and he stammered as he spoke. One glance was enough to tell he was lying-and not very skillfully, either.
"Enough of your excuses!"
The Little White Dog Demon was not buying it at all. She bared her teeth at Xu Mu again.
"I heard you say you were going to catch me and beat me black and blue! Well? Come on, then!"
Xu Mu's expression changed sharply in alarm. He had never imagined that this Little White Dog Demon had already reached the second level of the Void Insight Realm!
Even all of them combined were probably no match for this dog demon!
