Luo Bai spoke softly, his voice low but firm.
Everyone followed his gaze and saw, at the outlet of a small pool,
a tiny cave whose entrance was concealed by thick aquatic weeds and rocks. Without looking closely, it was hard to discover that there was a hiding place here at all.
Luo Bai cautiously led everyone into the cave. They all held their breath, afraid that the slightest sound might draw their enemies' attention.
"This place is perfect. Brother Luo Bai really does have a good head on his shoulders. They probably won't ever imagine we're hiding here."
Ding San spoke with admiration written all over his face. He felt that all the experience he and the other rogue cultivators had accumulated over the years had been for nothing. At a critical moment, they still had to rely on Luo Bai's quick thinking.
Liu Yan, however, was not so optimistic. His brows creased slightly as he said worriedly,

Everyone's spirits sank after hearing Liu Yan's words.
Although this spot was indeed well concealed, if Murong Fu and the others really did as Liu Yan said and searched recklessly through everything, they would probably struggle to escape unscathed.
For a moment, silence fell over the cave. Everyone pondered how to respond, but none could think of a good way out of their predicament.
