Wenlong led his white horse along at a leisurely pace. The market was crowded, making riding inconvenient. He had barely gone any distance when he sensed someone furtively trailing him.
He paid it no mind. A petty thief was hardly worth his concern. Once he left the market, he was just about to mount and leave when a burly man strode up and grabbed the reins.

The man's shameless behavior made Wenlong laugh in anger. He had thought they might have some underhanded trick up their sleeves, but they simply intended to rob him outright.
