Cursed Seal undone

He's too fast. I can't keep up! At this rate, I'll have to activate the Cursed Seal's second state. What the hell is he, to push me this far? Still, at least his movements are easier to predict now. Just as the thought crossed Sasuke's mind, he realized how horribly wrong his prediction had been. Several enormous fists formed from chakra hurtled straight at him. He couldn't dodge them all and took a crushing hit.

On all fours, Naruto charged forward in a blind rage. The Demon Fox Cloak's enormous chakra fists attacked relentlessly, forcing Sasuke back step by step without giving him a single chance to counterattack, until he was finally cornered.

God, what the hell is he? All I can do now is dodge! This power must be what Itachi wants! Sasuke's thoughts raced as he scrambled to evade the attacks.

"You've got nowhere to run, bastard! Give up!" Naruto roared, slamming a fist into the Uchiha's face and sending him flying into the rock wall opposite them, where the impact gouged out an enormous crater.

"Heh, you've got some skill. I'll give you that." Sasuke struggled out of the shattered rock. "Too bad. No matter how strong you are, you're still no match for me!"

With a furious roar, he unleashed the Cursed Seal's second state in full.

Several enormous, fleshy wings resembling claws sprouted from his back. His hair grew longer, hanging down behind him, with long silver strands emerging among the black. His once-fair skin turned a dull grayish brown. His eyes still held the Sharingan, but their whites had turned pitch-black.

Both moved at once, charging straight at each other. Naruto's advantage in speed had vanished, but he still had his enormous chakra arms. The problem was that he had to stand still to control them, giving Sasuke an opening. Sasuke easily skirted their attacks and rushed right up to Naruto, forcing him to keep dodging backward.

The battle grew fiercer. Every attack left a new scar on the land, and the sounds of their clash echoed for miles around.

"All right, Naruto. It's time we ended this fight." As Sasuke spoke, he turned his palm downward and formed another Chidori. This time, however, its lightning was no longer the usual white, but shone with an eerie black-and-silver light.

Naruto formed another Rasengan in his palm, and the two charged straight at each other. Just as their two ninjutsu were about to collide, Naruto suddenly twisted aside and kicked Sasuke hard, sending him flying to one side.

"You're right, Sasuke. It's time to end this. I'll show you just how wide the gap between us really is," Naruto said, an eerie trace of calm entering his demonic voice. He slowly closed his eyes and began gathering chakra with all his strength.

At first, Sasuke looked curious, but his expression soon turned to sheer terror. A second tail slowly took shape at the base of Naruto's spine. Naruto dropped onto all fours again, the second tail lashing wildly behind him.

A primal, bestial roar erupted from Naruto's throat. His hair grew even wilder, the black markings beneath his eyes became thicker and darker, and both tails thrashed madly behind him.

Even with the Cursed Seal's second state active, Sasuke couldn't help feeling afraid. The power radiating from Naruto was simply too terrifying. This is bad. I have to get out of here, fast. But how? he thought, slowly backing away.

Naruto vanished in an instant. Sasuke couldn't even follow his movements. By the time he reacted, he had already been sent flying by a brutal blow. Before he could hit the ground, another kick struck his back, driving him hard into the rock wall at the foot of Madara's statue.

Sasuke staggered out of the hole in the rock wall, coughing up blood. Wherever Naruto had kicked or struck him felt as though it had been burned. Even his skin, strengthened by the Cursed Seal, was continuing to fester.

Naruto watched the Uchiha's suffering with interest, then decided to end the fight. An enormous chakra arm extended from his body and hovered over the head of the Uchiha, who had long since lost his former swagger. Then it came crashing down with world-shattering force. Sasuke was driven deep into the ground, the Cursed Seal on his body instantly deactivated, and he lost consciousness.
