- Shikaku told Torai that he had deliberately accepted a minor burn to make Torai believe his attacks were working and steer him toward chosen positions.
- Shikaku revealed that he had arranged fallen leaves as visual markers to guide Torai along the battlefield, and Torai accepted his defeat.
- Choza gave Shikaku potato chips and complained about his complicated tactics, while Shikaku explained that a direct attack against an Uchiha would have been dangerous.
