Yakushi Nonō looked troubled.
Without funding from the village, the money she earned still wasn't enough, even though she had taken on several jobs. Some of the children would have to go hungry.
She popped a blister on her palm and sighed silently.
"What should I do?"
"I'm so tired."
Shikaku Nara, with his pineapple-shaped hair, yawned and laced his hands behind his head.
"What a drag. Why does Moonlight Ruyun want to challenge us?"
"No idea, but I should thank him for getting us out of our Will of Fire class," Choza Akimichi said.
Inoichi Yamanaka nodded in wholehearted agreement.
Anything was fine as long as they didn't have to attend Will of Fire class.
Shikaku Nara chuckled softly. If going on missions weren't even more of a hassle, he wouldn't have put up with those boring Will of Fire classes either.
"How strong is Moonlight Ruyun?"
Choza Akimichi shook his head.
Inoichi Yamanaka thought for a moment, then said uncertainly, "Pretty strong, I think. He's been on missions with Lord Jiraiya and Lady Tsunade."
"Your uncle told you that?"
Inoichi Yamanaka nodded. Yamanaka Makoto had indeed told him.
Not only that, he had told him to get acquainted with Moonlight Ruyun if he had the chance and build a good relationship with him.
But before he even had a chance to meet him, the guy was already graduating early...
"That's good." Shikaku Nara sighed in relief. "We won't have to go easy on him. Hopefully, he'll beat us quickly so we can rest."
"Maybe you should take a look at who's watching," Inoichi Yamanaka reminded him quietly.
