• Liu Xi woke healed in the RV after drinking the potent antibiotics and accepted Su Qingqian’s offer of a hot shower.

Su Qingqian found relief in the revenge, but Lin Hui turned his attention toward the people who had drawn the trouble to them and two pursuing pickups.

• Lin Hui drove the armored RV through the Feral Wolf Guild convoy while Liu Xi picked off armed attackers, destroying the vehicles and killing everyone except the leather-jacketed deputy hall master.
• The injured deputy hall master threatened Lin Hui with the Feral Wolf Guild’s leader and his supposedly tank-like Lv5 vehicle, but Lin Hui refused to back down.
• Lin Hui shot the deputy hall master repeatedly to avenge Xiao Ya and Su Qingqian, then killed him with a final shot to the forehead.

Lin Hui caught up with the Feral Wolf Guild members pursuing the man in black, killed them, and recovered the Lv5 vehicle upgrade blueprint. He also killed the man in black for using him as a shield, then joined Su Qingqian in looting the battlefield.

• Lin Hui chose a narrow canyon for the ambush, while Su Qingqian planted linked mines and prepared a drone carrying antitank mines, and Liu Xi hid in a sniper position.

Lin Hui used the goateed man’s voiceprint to deceive the Feral Wolf Guild and planned an ambush at an abandoned hospital. He then organized preparations and supplies with Su Qingqian and Liu Xi, leaving Su Qingqian embarrassed after mistaking his invitation to the bedroom for something intimate.

• Su Qingqian demonstrated that her voiceprint simulator could imitate the goateed man, and Lin Hui shot him before he could send a message.
• Lin Hui told the driver he had promised not to kill him, but Liu Xi shot the driver instead.

Lin Hui fought off a pack of Predators in the operating room and discovered that he had resisted a toxin in the air. The silver-haired girl remained by the dissected Tyrant, which then emerged holding the unconscious Liu Xi hostage.

• Lin Hui confronted the silver-haired girl as she continued dissecting the tier-4 Tyrant zombie, then dodged a Predator's surprise attack.
• More than a dozen Predators attacked Lin Hui, but he killed them all with his Axe Gun and physical strength.
• Lin Hui felt dizzy and realized a toxin in the air had affected him only slightly because of his 150 constitution.

Lin Hui rescued Liu Xi from the hospital and met Bai Ling, a human player and mad scientist who controlled a tier-4 Tyrant. After Bai Ling followed him back to the RV, she asked to join his group as an employee.

• Bai Ling explained that Liu Xi had passed out from anesthetic gas and that she had only taken her to protect her from the Predators, then revealed that the Tyrant was her creation.
• Bai Ling released Liu Xi and gave Lin Hui an antidote, and Lin Hui carried Liu Xi out of the hospital.
• Bai Ling followed Lin Hui to his RV and excitedly praised it as a potential mobile laboratory and monster enclosure.
• Bai Ling asked to live in Lin Hui's RV, mistook Liu Xi and Su Qingqian for his mating partners, and offered to become his employee after Lin Hui refused.

Lin Hui accepted Bai Ling, a tier-two Medicine specialist, into his RV team after learning her abilities could help on their upcoming trip to Cauldron City. The chapter ended with Bai Ling settling into the RV and unsettling Lin Hui, Su Qingqian, and Liu Xi with her eccentric plans and shameless behavior.
