Whole Cake Island-
At its center stood Whole Cake Chateau, an enormous fairy-tale building decorated with piped cream, at least from the outside.
Inside, the "structure" of the common areas was relatively normal, with ordinary brick and stone walls.
The individual rooms, however, were still "candy houses" straight out of a fairy tale.
The walls were built from white chocolate, smooth and pleasantly warm to the touch. They were neither sticky nor prone to melting from body heat.
The crystal chandelier overhead was made of candy. The caramel-colored floor had marble-like patterns and gave slightly underfoot.
The castle was filled with all kinds of Homies, some of which formed "living secret chambers."
Inside one secret reception room-
Bondrewd sat in a dark chocolate chair before a large, round white chocolate table.
Not far beside him, a petite girl with twin tails cautiously glanced at his pitch-black helmet, its vertical purple light glowing dimly.
The girl wore a pink Lolita dress. Her long, wavy, light brown hair was tied into twin tails, with bangs covering her forehead.
"What is it, Pudding?"
The vertical purple light on Bondrewd's helmet brightened and dimmed with his gentle voice.
Pudding immediately averted her gaze, looking instead at the hands Bondrewd had resting on the table.
Against the white chocolate tabletop, his black mechanical gauntlets seemed rather jarring to her.
"...No, Professor Bondrewd. It's just my first time coming home after traveling so far away. I'm a little nervous."
Pudding sat straight with her hands on her knees, looking very well behaved.
It was not entirely an excuse. She had not seen Mama for a while, and her feelings were complicated and uneasy.
