Over on Whole Cake Island, a clone had been used to create a situation where he "appeared somewhere far away at the same time as Flashlight."
Given Whole Cake Island's complicated mix of people, the official line was that they were secretly cooperating with Bondrewd.
The details could be kept secret, but almost everyone who needed to know already knew that "Bondrewd had appeared on Whole Cake Island."
The bridge-
Golden Lion sat in a luxurious chair on one side of the bridge, his legs crossed, with the two famous swords Oto and Kogarashi leaning beside him.

Golden Lion turned his head, saw Bondrewd, and grinned.
