Lv5, Freezing Hell-
An icy landscape, bitter winds, snowfields, coniferous forests, and crude bluestone buildings made up the "town."
These buildings were stacked, matchbox-style cells.
Inside the occupied cells, three or four shivering prisoners huddled together, looking very much like extras.
Their bounties were actually generally over 100 million. Their "threat levels" simply weren't high enough.
"To think they could create a self-contained ecosystem like this. Is it Vegapunk's technology?"
Hovering just above the snow, Bondrewd looked up at the cold "sunlight" overhead. The light resembled that of a winter day, and the bitter winds and snowfields felt perfectly natural too.
Unlike the enclosed atmosphere of the upper four floors, the walls here were only visible far in the distance. No "ceiling" could be seen overhead.
"Jihahahaha-"
Golden Lion floated behind him, his orange-and-yellow striped haori fluttering in the bitter wind.
"I never gave that sort of thing any thought."
Golden Lion was revisiting an old haunt now, and he was surprisingly cheerful.
"By the way, Bondrewd, why didn't we take the lower elevator straight to Level 6?"
Perhaps it was because he had regained his youth and was returning "home" in triumph.
Golden Lion was rather eager to show off to his old acquaintances on Level 6.
Impel Down's official upper elevator served floors one through four. The lower elevator went directly from four to six. The fifth floor only had passages leading up and down.
"Byrnndi World is supposedly frozen somewhere on this floor."
Bondrewd casually shared a piece of information that even Golden Lion, a "local," didn't know.
"The World Destroyer from thirty years ago!? He's here!?"
Golden Lion raised his voice a little.
It brought a little life back to the "town."
