Sabaody No. 53, the dock district.
Three pirate ships docked one after another.
Shiryu was the first down the gangplank. The hem of his black double-breasted military coat fluttered gently in the sea breeze, and his cap was pulled low, hiding most of his face. A cigar hung from his mouth, smoke curling upward.
"Finally here. The Sabaody Archipelago. Still as noisy as ever."
As a high-ranking World Government official, Shiryu had visited Sabaody on vacation before.
He might have been a murderous maniac, but he still had ordinary ideas of pleasure. For example... in his original fate, after eating the Clear-Clear Fruit, he had used it to peep on people.

"...Hic. Time to find some good booze..."
The user of the Sake-Sake Fruit could never truly get drunk, though he looked the part. Besides, drinking alcohol created by his own power held little appeal for him.
Shiryu and Great Sake Barrel had both joined alone, without any subordinates of their own.
But Road Island had plenty of peripheral pirate crews, so the two had picked through them and assembled their own forces.
Their pirate ships were steam-powered warships manufactured by Caesar, simply painted black. Brazen hardly began to describe it.
"Hmm... what a curious twist of fate."
Mad Monk brought up the rear, the burly man in black monk's robes pressing his palms together.
This was his first visit to Sabaody, though in his current position, calling him a "Supernova" no longer seemed appropriate.
His pirate ship looked rather out of place beside the other
