Ace and Marco's explanation of the current situation came to a temporary close amid suspicions about Bondrewd.
Next came Sephiroth's specific arrangements.
"Do you know where their 'base' is?"
Sephiroth looked at Ace. They were the locals, after all.
"...Sorry, we don't. Weevil and his people haven't been staying on any one island for long."
Ace felt quite embarrassed, but there really was nothing he could do.
Weevil wasn't a captain, nor had he ever operated as part of a pirate crew. He had simply traveled with Buckin, just mother and son, without any subordinates.

His original plan had been to settle the matter in a few days. Now he would have to wait for the enemy to attack first.
Sephiroth could teleport through the base stations himself, so he didn't have to worry about wasting time standing guard here.
As for Yamato and the others, spending a few weeks here wouldn't be a problem. They could treat it as a vacation.
"Other than this island, just six nearby islands."
Ace explained that this was all that remained of the Whitebeard Pirates' territory.
Moreover, since they didn't know when Weevil might attack, the other commanders had already split up to garrison the islands.
Sephiroth roughly assessed the situation. Before making arrangements, however, there was something else
