Bondrewd unleashed Cliffside Sword, engulfing Kuzan, before several golden lasers pierced his body.
"...Hmm. Lasers really are hard to dodge."
Bondrewd turned toward Kizaru in the distance and raised a hand. Flecks of light emerged and settled into the holes in his body. Those penetrating wounds healed at a speed visible to the naked eye.
The biomass stored in the internal compartments of his Carapace of the Dawn outer armor could simulate all sorts of wounds under his control of electromagnetic force.
-Holy light? No... the Heal-Heal Fruit!?
Kizaru watched Bondrewd's "healing," torn.
Despite already having rapid self-healing, he still had to show off a "new ability." Kizaru's mouth twitched slightly. He raised a hand and fired lasers in rapid succession. Dozens of golden streaks swept across the airspace where Bondrewd stood.
An invisible force field appeared before Bondrewd, blocking every laser. He deliberately distorted visible light as well, making the impacts look like the effects of the Barrier-Barrier Fruit.
Seeing this, Kizaru increased his firepower and continued bombarding him. The Barrier-Barrier Fruit "blocked" things. In theory, Bondrewd should have been unable to counterattack from that direction either.
-Whooom.
Not far behind Bondrewd, a massive burst of steam erupted from the magma pillars colliding and exploding in midair.
A giant ice ball shot out. Its shell shattered, revealing Kuzan. He knocked his fists together, forming Ice Gloves, then launched a surprise attack with Geppo, punching toward Bondrewd.
The cold condensed into fine ice crystals in the air, tracing a blue-white streak.
"I see."
Pinned down by Kizaru's firepower, Bondrewd watched the two move to flank him. He snapped his fingers-simulating the Arrow-Arrow Fruit.
"-Arrow's Fate."
Bondrewd used electromagnetic force to redirect Kizaru's lasers toward Kuzan. He also used Optical Camouflage to simulate several Vector Arrows for show.
"Ice Saber!"
