Chapter Summaries

Sephiroth and his allies waited for Alpha to approach Titans' Central System, then captured her and forced her to become a double agent. The chapter ended with Kalifa and Shining preparing to use an intimate encounter to confirm Alpha's loyalty.

• Sephiroth explained that the lifelike Kalifa in the Thunderhawk lounge was a remotely controlled Artificial Angel while the real Kalifa remained in Heaven's Gate Town.
• Black Enchantress and four Imperial Guard units intercepted Alpha at the Clock Tower after her attempt to signal Cipher Pol failed because communications were jammed.
• Shining and Kalifa confronted the captured Alpha, and Shining injected a control chip that let him monitor her thoughts and threaten her nervous system.
• Shining revealed that Alpha's contact was Guernica and demanded that she cooperate as a double agent; Alpha reluctantly agreed.
• Kalifa proposed another test of Alpha's loyalty, and Shining joined her in the interrogation room.

Alpha reported that the key had been connected and was assigned to Cipher Pol Aigis Zero, while Road Island’s residents pursued their own activities. In Elbaf’s Underworld, Sephiroth demonstrated his power to the giants by creating a miniature sun, which the Great Hammer Regiment’s Captain recognized as the Forbidden Sun.
