"Soto Great Soul Arena?" Qin Ye scratched his head. He seemed to remember a place like that.

Qin Ye vaguely remembered killing several powerful fighters who held Diamond Soul Fighting Medals back in Slaughter City. Even now, recalling them made him feel they had been troublesome opponents.

"They really were a bunch of lunatics who didn't care whether they lived or died."

As Qin Ye stood there reminiscing, time quietly slipped by, and the Shrek Seven Devils arrived at the square one after another.

"Morning, Brother Ye!" Ning Rongrong greeted him as cheerfully as ever.

"Morning, Brother Ye." Xiao Wu gave a small wave, a trace of shyness still on her face.

"Good morning, Brother Ye." Zhu Zhuqing came to Qin Ye's side, standing so close they almost touched.

Looking at the fair-skinned, beautiful Zhu Zhuqing, Qin Ye leaned toward her ear and asked curiously, "Why are you calling me Brother Ye too?"

"Can't I?" Zhu Zhuqing blinked playfully at him. "I'm younger than you, so there's nothing wrong with calling you Brother Ye, is there?"

"I suppose there isn't." Qin Ye raised his head in confusion, then nodded as he spoke.

"Good morning, everyone! Anyone want a Big Sausage for breakfast?" Oscar came flying into the square, pushing his Sausage Cart and calling out at the top of his lungs.

"Ladies, care for a few sausages?" With a freshly bought rose between his teeth, Oscar stylishly offered them several steaming sausages.

Ning Rongrong and the others looked at the sausages in Oscar's hand, then exchanged glances. "Are these sausages really edible?" Faced with breakfast offered by a stranger, they couldn't help putting a question mark over it in their minds.

"That's enough, Xiao Ao." Dai Mubai happened to walk over and pulled the posturing Oscar back. "Put your sausages away. Others might not know, but do you really think you can fool me?"

"Boss Dai, you're undermining me again. Sigh, fine." Oscar reluctantly put his sausages away, then bowed and introduced himself to everyone.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Oscar. I'm a food-type Soul Master with level twenty-nine soul power, and I'm also a student at Shrek. From now on, we'll be classmates."

While Oscar was introducing himself, a fat boy wearing a red vest slowly approached from the distance.

"This pisses me off! I've broken up again. What am I supposed to do now? Without a woman, how am I supposed to suppress the evil fire inside me? This really pisses me off," Ma Hongjun complained angrily.

But the moment Ma Hongjun spotted Xiao Wu and the other two girls in the square, his eyes went wide and fixed on them!

"Holy crap! So many gorgeous girls! Such slim waists, such long legs-and there are three of them! I've never seen girls this beautiful." Ma Hongjun immediately put a rose between his teeth and threw the girls a flirtatious wink. "Ladies, interested in becoming my girlfriends?"

Ning Rongrong frowned at the plump boy before her, immediately waving him off and backing away two steps, a hint of contempt on her face. "Ugh, who is this? Stay away from me."

Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu also backed away, unwilling to let Ma Hongjun get anywhere near them.

"Don't be scared, beauties. I'm a good man who loves his wife. Stick with me, and I definitely won't let you lose out." Ma Hongjun started forward to pursue them, but Qin Ye reached out and stopped him.

Qin Ye gave Ma Hongjun an icy look. "Get lost."

"Who are you?" Ma Hongjun glared viciously at Qin Ye. "Stay out of my business, or I'll beat you up!" As he spoke, Ma Hongjun waved his fist.

Bam!

Qin Ye threw a punch straight at him, smashing it hard into Ma Hongjun's chubby face. The blow sent Ma Hongjun flying, and he crashed heavily to the ground.

Qin Ye clenched his fist. "If you want to fight, then fight. Why all the bullshit? I'm telling you, these three girls are under my protection. If you want to give them trouble, you'll have to get through me first."

"You!" Ma Hongjun climbed up from the ground, his eyes red. "Damn it, you're asking for a beating! Boss Dai, let's take him together. We have to teach him a lesson today!" Ma Hongjun appealed to Dai Mubai beside him.

"That's enough, Fatty." Dai Mubai placed a hand on Ma Hongjun's shoulder and held him back. "You're no match for Qin Ye. Don't go looking for suffering."

"All right, quiet." Flender immediately put a stop to the dispute. "Everyone, line up. I have something to say."

Once Flender spoke, everyone immediately put aside their other thoughts and obediently lined up. Ma Hongjun shot a vicious glare at Qin Ye, who stood in the middle of the line, separating the boys from the girls.

"Hmph, I'll remember that punch. Sooner or later, I'll pay it back myself!"

Dai Mubai and Tang San stood beside Ma Hongjun. Sporting two dark circles under his eyes, Tang San stood listlessly in the square, his figure so gaunt that a gust of wind seemed enough to knock him over.

After enduring Flender's hellish training the night before, Tang San no longer had any strength to trade barbs with Qin Ye. Even his breathing had grown much weaker.

Qin Ye said, "Dean, everyone's here now. Whatever you have to say, please go ahead."

Flender adjusted his glasses and coughed twice. "Ahem. Then I won't keep you in suspense. Little Monsters, welcome to Shrek. Today, I'll teach you your first lesson as monsters. Tonight, I'll take you to the Great Soul Arena in town. There, you can display your talents and strength to your hearts' content, and all the glory you earn will belong to you."

Flender explained the Great Soul Arena's rules to everyone. They were much as Qin Ye had imagined.

The Great Soul Arena offered three types of matches: sparring matches, death matches, and wager matches. The formats were divided into one-on-one, two-on-two, and team matches.

From lowest to highest, the medals had eight ranks: iron, bronze, silver, gold, purple gold, sapphire, ruby, and diamond.

To graduate successfully from Shrek Academy, they not only needed to cultivate beyond level forty before turning twenty, but also had to earn a Silver Soul Fighter Medal at the Great Soul Arena. Soul fighting medals carried a certain weight in the continent's major cities. Wherever Soul Masters with high-ranking soul fighting medals went, they would receive a warm welcome at the local Soul Fighting Arena.

"So tonight, I'm taking you there to get used to it first. In the future, it will become the best place for your practical combat training. Also, don't assume a Silver Soul Fighter Medal is easy to earn. You should know that if there's one thing this continent never lacks, it's geniuses. You'll understand exactly what it's like once you get there tonight," Flender reminded them.

Hearing this, Qin Ye quietly muttered under his breath, "They're not that hard to get, are they? I still have a few diamond medals sitting in my Soul Tool. Doesn't that mean I can graduate on the spot once I reach level forty?"

"Qin Ye, what did you just say?" Flender suddenly called his name.

"Oh, nothing." There wasn't a trace of panic on Qin Ye's face, only the confidence of someone strong. "Don't worry, Dean. There's no need to wait until graduation. Tonight, I'll bring you back a Bronze Soul Fighter Medal."

Qin Ye's eyes brimmed with confidence. "A mere Great Soul Arena? Places like that are what I fear least. It's only a Bronze Soul Fighter Medal. As far as I'm concerned, it's easy as pie."
