Background
Xu Longxiang was once an outstanding disciple of True Martial Mountain, one of the Ten Great Heavenly Pillars. Contrary to rumors that he had been expelled, he personally abandoned the mountain; his estrangement from its disciples endured for decades 171 200.
He is the younger brother of Xu Baxian, a former True Martial Dao Child and Young Dragon Tablet champion. Xu Longxiang later established the Dragon Elephant True Sect, preserving a separate Dragon Elephant lineage after leaving True Martial Mountain 255 270.
Ye Wenjiang, a former Dragon Elephant Dao Child, was Xu Longxiang's disciple. Ye's death and the loss of his remains remained a central grievance for Xu Longxiang; he eventually returned to Dragon Elephant Mountain to hold Ye Wenjiang's funeral and appoint Ji Xiu as the new Dao Child 177 194 270.
