When Kami first laid eyes on his homeland, Planet Namek, his body trembled uncontrollably.
A sense of belonging rose from deep within his soul, making him draw a deep breath.
Even the air seemed to carry a familiar scent.
"Come on, Kami. I'll take you to see the Grand Elder!"
Lin Chen patted Kami on the shoulder, then led him toward the Grand Elder's home.
Before long, Kami met the first Namekian he had ever seen in his life other than King Piccolo.
The one who greeted them was once again the Grand Elder's guard, Nail.
He bowed to Lin Chen and said, "It's been a while, Mr. Lin Chen. The Grand Elder sent me out to welcome our wandering Namekian home."
What followed was, naturally, a warm reunion with his people. Kami also learned from the Grand Elder that he was the child of a Namekian named Katatz, who had sent him to Earth when a catastrophic climate disaster struck Planet Namek all those years ago.
Throughout this, Lin Chen stood quietly to one side, watching everything.
Once Kami and the Grand Elder had finished reminiscing, the Grand Elder addressed Lin Chen. "Mr. Lin Chen, have you come for the Dragon Balls?"
"Yes, Grand Elder. I'd like to use the Dragon Balls to make a wish. Do I need to undergo another test?"
"Heh heh heh. Mr. Lin Chen, Planet Namek's Dragon Balls will always be at your disposal."
The Grand Elder possessed some ability to foresee the future, and he had already seen that Lin Chen might help the Namekians.
Moreover, as time passed, the Grand Elder noticed that Lin Chen was far stronger every time they met.
The Grand Elder believed it was well worth maintaining a good relationship with someone so powerful.
With the Grand Elder's permission, Lin Chen used his Instant Transmission to quickly gather all seven Dragon Balls from Namekian villages across the planet.
Once Planet Namek's seven Dragon Balls had been gathered, Kami took out the seven Earth Dragon Balls he had brought.
"Are these the Dragon Balls you created? You truly are an outstanding Namekian."
The Grand Elder offered his praise upon seeing Earth's Dragon Balls.
"Thank you for the compliment, Grand Elder. Well then... Lin Chen, can we begin?"
"All right!" Lin Chen nodded.
"Come forth, Shenron! Grant my wish!" Kami shouted.
Immediately afterward, Nail called out the password for summoning the dragon in the Namekian language.
The next moment, Planet Namek's sky plunged into darkness.
All fourteen Dragon Balls shone with golden light at once.
Then two dragons, one large and one small, rose out of the golden light.
Earth's dragon and Planet Namek's dragon appeared at the same time, in the same place. A sight that had never occurred even in the original story suddenly unfolded before Lin Chen and the others.
Yet the first thing Lin Chen said upon seeing this was, "Kami, your dragon is so small."
A bead of cold sweat ran down Kami's forehead. "Yes. I'm still a long way behind the Grand Elder," he said, ashamed.
The Grand Elder chuckled and reassured him. "It's all right. Appearance is merely superficial. What matters most is that your dragon is full of power. That's a very good thing."
"Thank you, Grand Elder."
After expressing his thanks, Kami turned to Lin Chen. "Lin Chen, state your wish."
Lin Chen nodded, then first addressed Nail. "Mr. Nail, for my first wish, please ask Planet Namek's dragon to restore the planet Tiviy. Sorry for the trouble!"
Then he said to Earth's dragon, "Please bring back to life all the living beings on Tiviy Star that Frieza destroyed!"
This was why Lin Chen had summoned the dragons of two planets at the same time.
Hanasia was not the only person Lin Chen wanted to revive. Planet Namek's dragon could not resurrect multiple lives at once, so he had to use Earth's dragon to bring them back.
But Earth's dragon could only grant one wish at a time, and before the people of Tiviy Star could be revived, the planet itself had to be restored.
That was why Lin Chen had gathered the Dragon Balls of both planets this time.
After Lin Chen stated his wishes, the eyes of Planet Namek's dragon, Porunga, and Earth's dragon lit up in succession.
Porunga spoke first. "Saiyan, your wish has been granted. Tiviy Star has been restored!"
Then Earth's dragon spoke as well. "Your wish has been granted, Saiyan. Thank you for letting me meet my brother. Farewell!"
With that, Earth's dragon's coiled body turned back into seven Dragon Balls, ready to scatter across the world.
But they were on Planet Namek now. Naturally, Lin Chen would not let the Dragon Balls fly off in every direction, or bringing them back to Earth would be difficult.
So before the Dragon Balls could fly away, Lin Chen leaped high into the air and caught all seven in one go.
Meanwhile, on Tiviy Star...
Many people rose from the ground with bewildered expressions, including Hanasia and the Saiyans who had died.
"Frieza!"
The moment she came back to life, Hanasia shouted his name. But then she realized that she seemed to be on Tiviy Star.
"That's strange. Where are Frieza and his people?"
"Princess Hana!"
Near Hanasia, several Saiyans who had likewise just been revived gathered around her, asking one another what had just happened.
Many of them remembered that they should have been dead.
Hearing their conversation, Hanasia suddenly remembered that she, too, seemed to have died.
When that cunning Frieza could no longer beat her, he had abruptly unleashed an attack that destroyed Tiviy Star.
If that was the case, why had they all come back to life? And why had even Tiviy Star been restored?
While Hanasia and the others were full of questions, some other aliens on the planet scrambled aboard nearby spaceships and fled into space.
These aliens were all combat personnel from the Frieza Force.
They had landed on the planet to ambush the Saiyans, only for Frieza to kill them along with Tiviy Star.
Now that they had suddenly returned to life, they had no idea what had happened, but they certainly recognized the Saiyans nearby.
That female Saiyan, in particular, was a terrifying fighter who had even thrashed King Frieza. If they did not flee now, were they supposed to wait for her to kill them again?
Meanwhile, on Planet Namek...
Nail said to Lin Chen, "Mr. Lin Chen, your wish has been granted. What is your second wish?"
"My second wish... Oh dear, I don't think I've decided yet," Lin Chen said with an embarrassed chuckle.
At those words, Kami and the others promptly toppled to the ground.
