When the guards outside heard King Cold's shouts from the room, they dared not delay any longer and immediately blasted the door apart with an energy wave.
"King Cold!"
But when they rushed into the room, they saw King Cold holding a royal guard in his hand.
The royal guard's head hung limply to one side. He was clearly dead.
"King Cold, he... he..."
"You useless fools! He was the culprit behind the recent string of attacks!" King Cold threw the corpse onto the floor. "Clean this place up, then burn his body!"
With that, King Cold walked out of the room.
"Yes, sir..."
The attendants knelt on the floor and watched King Cold leave.
Then they looked at the corpse on the floor in bewilderment. "He was one of His Majesty's royal guards. How could he dare attack His Majesty?"
"No idea. Maybe he went mad? He was already a royal guard, yet he still didn't understand how terrifying King Cold was? What an idiot."
These attendants had no idea that the King Cold they were talking about was actually the corpse lying on the floor.
The person who had just walked out was Ginyu, who had taken over King Cold's body!
When Ginyu returned to King Cold's private room and shut the door, he finally burst into laughter. "Hahaha! Power! I can feel the power!"
"So this is the body of the Frieza race? The power surging through this body is overflowing. It feels like I'm about to explode!"
"That's right! The Frieza race can transform, too! Like Frieza, King Cold was always suppressing his power! If I transform again, won't I be invincible?"
Suddenly, Ginyu calmed down. "No... I'm not invincible yet. Even if I reach my final form, I probably still won't be a match for a Super Saiyan... I need to get stronger! Stronger still! I should be able to keep training this body. It still has plenty of untapped potential!"

Jaco spoke as he piloted the spaceship.
At that moment, Lin Chen and Tights were aboard Jaco's ship.
Their destination was a wondrous planet somewhere in the universe.
On that planet lived an extraordinary individual named Zuno.
According to Lin Chen's memories, Zuno was an incredible, all-knowing being who knew everything in existence.
The reason he wanted to find Zuno was to learn how to travel to a parallel timeline.
So after returning to Earth, Lin Chen had asked Tights to contact Jaco for him.
Although he had Instant Transmission, he didn't know where Zuno's planet was, so he had to let Jaco lead the way.
As for Tights, after hearing about Zuno, she had clamored to come along and see for herself.
An all-knowing alien-what could be more interesting than that?
Bulma had also clamored to come, but Lin Chen knew what the girl was really after and had flatly refused.
Zuno's planet was quite far from Earth. They had already been flying for several hours, and their patience was gradually wearing thin.
"Jaco, how much longer until we get there?" Tights asked, bored.

"I don't know!" Jaco said, turning his head away.
Tights quickly grabbed his shoulder. "Huh? Don't be stingy. Tell me! I could use it in my new book."
"New book?" Jaco asked in confusion. "Didn't Jaco the Galactic Patrolman end?"
"It did. My new serialized novel is called My Saiyan Boyfriend. It's number one on the new-release bestseller list right now! It's doing much better than Jaco the Galactic Patrolman."
"Hmph! Then I'm not telling you." Jaco turned away again, sulking.
As the two continued their comedy-duo banter, they finally arrived at Zuno's planet.
Much like Zuno himself, his home, Zuno Planet, was rather extraordinary.
The planet was small, only a few times larger than King Kai's Planet, and it looked like a planet encased in a giant wooden box.
Its surface was a patchwork of bright colors, with only Zuno's palace upon it.
Zuno's palace was distinctly Japanese in style, but a huge escalator stood out front, making the whole place look particularly strange.
The three rode the escalator up to the corridor in front of the palace, where they saw a long line had already formed.
Just as they stepped off, several samurai-like aliens approached, holding small notebooks.
At the sight of these samurai, Tights asked, "Huh? These guys look so strange. Which one is Zuno?"
"None of us is Zuno! We are attendants who serve Lord Zuno!"
The samurai-like aliens spoke in unison.
Then they surrounded Lin Chen. "Lord Zuno said an uninvited guest had arrived, so we came to investigate."
"An uninvited guest?" Tights asked in confusion.
"Yes. Lord Zuno does not see anyone without an appointment," one attendant said.
"What? Jaco! Why didn't you tell us?" Tights demanded angrily. Anyone would have been upset after flying for hours only to learn they couldn't meet him.
Jaco was dumbfounded, too. This was his first visit to Zuno Planet, and he had never heard of this rule before.
Then the attendant opened his little notebook and said, "If you make an appointment now, we can fit you in five years from now. Well? Would you like to book one?"
"Five years?"
Hearing that, Jaco could only ask awkwardly, "Um... I'm with the Galactic Patrol. Could you make an exception?"
"No!" Zuno's attendant refused without hesitation.
