Zuno's answer

"What do we do?" Jaco was at a loss.

"Simple."

Lin Chen smiled and stepped forward. "I have an appointment. Let me see Zuno."

"You?" Zuno's attendant paused, then flipped through his book. "What's your name? I'll check."

"Lin Chen! My Saiyan name is Linx."

"Lin Chen? Linx?" After carefully checking the list, the attendant said apologetically, "Sorry, you aren't on the appointment list..."

Before he could finish, a golden light suddenly flared before him.

The next moment, Lin Chen transformed into a Super Saiyan and fired a Ki Blast out of the corridor.

"Ridiculous. Zuno Planet is protected by Lord Zuno's power. You can't possibly do any damage to the planet..."

Rumble!

The Ki Blast struck a distant forest, punched through the ground, and shot straight out the other side of Zuno Planet.

At the sight, all the guards and guests stared with bulging eyes, snot streaming from their noses.

"Have you found my name?"

"Y-yes, I found it! Lin Chen, right? Please come in!"

The guests waiting in line immediately stepped to either side, clearing a path for Lin Chen.

"Let's go." Without returning to his normal form, Lin Chen headed deeper into the corridor, his hair still golden.

Tights was about to follow when Jaco stopped her.

"Tights, is that a Super Saiyan?"

Tights replied, "Yeah! Don't you think it's cool? His hair can actually turn gold! Lin Chen said it could turn yellow-green, red, and blue later, too!"

Then she glanced at Jaco and said, "Don't tell me you want to arrest him because he just wrecked the place?"

Jaco hurriedly shook his head. "Of course not! We're companions, aren't we? Hahaha!"

Soon, they arrived in a great hall deep inside the building, where a man dressed like a Japanese samurai sat atop a bowl-shaped flying craft.

He was none other than the planet's master, Lord Zuno.

Beside Zuno, an attendant was whispering to him, evidently reporting what had just happened outside.

As Lin Chen entered, Zuno immediately put on a stern expression. "You're the one who broke the rules and forced his way in?"

"What, do you have a problem with that?" Lin Chen asked.

Zuno did not answer. Instead, he stared straight ahead, assuming an air of mystery.

At that moment, another attendant standing beside Zuno spoke. "Please present your offering!"

In truth, Zuno asked very little in the way of offerings. A single kiss was enough to earn an answer to one question. If the visitor was a beautiful woman, she might be allowed to ask even more.

But as the proud King of the Saiyan, how could Lin Chen do something so beneath his dignity?

"What's an offering? This?" Lin Chen raised a finger and condensed a Planet Crusher above his hand.

This was one of Frieza's strongest moves, containing enough power to destroy a planet with ease.

As someone endowed with mysterious powers, Zuno naturally recognized the move's might at once. He nodded in panic. "That's enough, that's enough! You may ask one... no, three... no, you can ask as many questions as you like!"

"Good!" With a flick of his hand, Lin Chen crushed his Planet Crusher out of existence.

"Then listen carefully. My question is, how can I travel to a parallel timeline?"

Zuno coughed and began explaining in a voice like someone reciting scripture. "There are several ways to travel to a parallel timeline."

"The first is to use a Time Machine. A Time Machine in the theoretical sense does not actually exist. Every time you use a Time Machine, you are really traveling to a parallel timeline."

"The second is to become a Supreme Kai and use a Time Ring reserved for Supreme Kais. When different parallel timelines arise in the world, green Time Rings are created. Using the corresponding ring allows you to reach a different parallel timeline."

Before Zuno could finish, Lin Chen interrupted him. "Wait!"

"Zuno, what I want to know is how to reach a specific parallel timeline!"

Lin Chen realized he might have phrased his question incorrectly. Zuno's answer was not what he wanted to know.

"In the parallel timeline I want to visit, a Legendary Super Saiyan has conquered the entire South Galaxy! I want to know how to get to that timeline!"

Zuno paused, then actually replied, "Is the Legendary Super Saiyan in that timeline named Broly?"

"You even know that?"

Lin Chen was astonished and found it hard to believe. He had never expected Zuno to know even this.

"Of course I know. My vast knowledge comes from a special ability akin to a great prophecy technique. As long as something exists in this world, there is nothing about it I cannot know," Zuno replied.

"Impressive!"

Lin Chen was genuinely beginning to admire this comical-looking fellow.

"Then can you answer my question?"

"Of course. There are two ways to reach the timeline you mentioned."

"The first is to obtain the help of Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time. The Supreme Kai of Time governs all parallel dimensions. She has the ability to observe and freely enter every parallel timeline."

"But I should mention that the Supreme Kai of Time transcends all universes and exists outside the Omni-King's control. Unless the Supreme Kai of Time summons them herself, mortals have no way of meeting her."

Lin Chen asked, "Then what's the second way?"

"The second..." Zuno had barely begun when he suddenly seemed to seize up, his body twitching uncontrollably.

Zuno's guards had never seen him like this before and rushed forward in alarm. Just then, however, Zuno raised a hand, signaling them not to approach.

"The second... the second way is to find tamulapes metal!"

"Tamulapes metal? What's that?" Lin Chen asked.

"It is an extremely rare metal in the universe, also known as time metal. The Supreme Kais' Time Rings are forged from this metal! Incidentally, this metal no longer exists in our universe."

"That's not a problem. I can ask Shenron to create some. What then? What do I do once I've found this metal?" Lin Chen continued.

Zuno answered, "Obtaining time metal is the first step. Next, you must take the time metal to a place rich in space-time energy. In other words, you must infuse space-time power into the time metal."

"Um..."

Before Lin Chen could ask, Zuno said, "A black hole is a place rich in space-time energy. Infusing space-time power into time metal means throwing the time metal into a black hole."

"That's all?" Lin Chen frowned. Why did this method sound so utterly unreliable?

Zuno nodded. "That's right. That is all. But in fact, doing this can only open a Time-Space Gate. It cannot control which timeline the Time-Space Gate leads to."

"However!" Zuno suddenly grew solemn. "My ability tells me that if a Saiyan named Linx does this, he will be able to open a path to the specified dimension."
