Countless aliens wearing battle suits scrambled out of the spaceship.
They were all warriors serving the infamous pirate Pegen and had plundered over a hundred planets.
Every last one of them was a vicious criminal.
Nearly a hundred of them formed ranks in front of the spaceship, waiting for Lin Chen to approach.
Before long, Lin Chen flew up before them and faced them down.
"That Saiyan actually dared to come?"
"Hahaha! They say Saiyans are a warrior race of mad dogs, biting everyone they see. Does he think he can challenge us?"
Amid the laughter, one alien switched on his Scouter. "Let me check his power level... fifteen thousand?"
"Fifteen thousand? Hahahaha!"
The other aliens immediately burst out laughing.
A power level of fifteen thousand was probably impressive among Saiyans, but against so many of them, it was nowhere near enough.
"Stop wasting time! Hurry up and capture him. We still need to find the Namekians!"
Their boss Pegen's voice rang out from their communicators.
An alien immediately volunteered, flying toward Lin Chen.
"Hey, Saiyan! Come quietly, and we'll spare you some suffering."
Lin Chen looked at the Scouters on their faces and made no rash moves.
Knowing the story well, he clearly remembered that these Scouters also served as communicators, capable of transmitting everything happening around them to the other end of the universe at any time.
He wasn't afraid of these people. He was afraid that killing them would only bring more enemies.
"Who are you? Are you Frieza's men?" Lin Chen asked.

Lin Chen remembered that name.
King Cold was Frieza's father, and he had been famous throughout the universe long before Frieza.
But what mattered more to Lin Chen was that these people were merely a ragtag band, with no ties to Frieza or any other faction.
That meant he no longer had anything to worry about.
"In that case, you can all die here!"
A sharp gleam flashed in Lin Chen's eyes. A Tri-Beam tore across the sky, instantly vaporizing one alien warrior.
After killing him, the Tri-Beam continued without losing any power and slammed into the spaceship behind the others, leaving it swaying precariously in an instant.
"Bastard! My spaceship!"
Pegen roared from aboard the ship, then flew straight out and shouted at his still-dazed subordinates, "You useless idiots! What are you standing around for? Get him!"
"Damn you!"
The remaining alien warriors snapped out of their daze and attacked Lin Chen with furious roars.
All manner of Tri-Beams, energy blasts, and cannon fire from the spaceship hurtled toward Lin Chen at once.
In an instant, a violent torrent of energy engulfed his position, and he vanished from sight.
"Linx!"
Far away, Broly, who was sensing the battle, suddenly panicked. His hair began to stand on end, and his aura kept swelling.
But a hand settled on him just then. "Calm down, Broly. Haven't you noticed? There's nothing wrong with Linx's aura. He must be testing his strength."
"Y-you're right..." At those words, Broly's frenzied aura instantly subsided.
Meanwhile, high in the sky.
After unleashing their barrage, the aliens finally stopped.
Looking at the acrid smoke before them, they all broke into wicked grins.
"Oops. Looks like we went a little overboard."
"Yeah. That Saiyan must have been blown to pieces, right?"
"The idiot! Who told him to mess with the Pegan Pirate Gang? Why couldn't he just be a good little prisoner?"
But just then, some of the aliens noticed what looked like a figure within the smoke!

"Is that Saiyan still alive?"
As the smoke cleared, they saw Lin Chen, whom they had thought they'd killed, floating in the same spot without a scratch.
"H-how is that possible?"
"He's completely unharmed?"
The aliens stared wide-eyed, as though they had seen a monster.
Even their boss Pegen couldn't have taken an attack like that and emerged completely unscathed.
Yet this Saiyan wasn't merely alive. There wasn't even a single wound on him!
What was going on? Wasn't his power level only fifteen thousand?
Lin Chen looked over his body and clenched his fists in satisfaction.
His body truly had become indestructible after merging with the legendary Saiyan bloodline!
"Are you done? If you are, it's my turn!" Lin Chen sneered and began unleashing his aura in full.
In an instant, fierce winds swept through the surroundings, and waves a thousand feet high rose one after another, surging toward the shore.
At that moment, every Namekian on the planet sensed an enormous aura.

Yet while they were gripped by terror, Lin Chen's voice rang out again in the distance.
"Don't be so surprised yet. The real show is only just beginning."
Laughing, Lin Chen slowly raised his power level once more. At the same time, the aura surrounding him gradually turned golden.
