When Gojo Satoru regained consciousness, he heard a hushed argument beside him.

"Enough. I'm keeping this child, no matter what."

The voice was gentle, but there was no mistaking the resolve behind it. It belonged to a woman.

"White hair right out of the womb. How can that be a good omen?"

Another voice cut in, aged enough to sound like an old man.

"Besides, the Uchiha Clan has never had a blue-eyed child. How can you prove he's of our blood?"

"How can I prove it? He came out of my belly! Are you questioning my faithfulness?"

The woman snapped back, unable to suppress her anger this time.

"Enough. From today onward, this child is Uchiha Satoru, the second son of Uchiha Fugaku. I don't want to hear another word."

Huh?

Gojo Satoru's mind jolted awake.

Uchiha?

Still groggy, he began muttering to himself inwardly.

Have I been reading too much Weekly Shonen Jump? Now I'm even having dreams so embarrassing they make my toes curl?

Whatever. Nothing happened. No way would I, Gojo Satoru, have a dream like this.

With that thought, his eyelids grew heavy, and he drifted off again.

When he next opened his eyes...

Gojo Satoru's blue eyes, veiled in a pale mist, remained fixed on the ceiling for a long time.

I really transmigrated?

And into a death trap like the Hokage's world, of all places.

Couldn't I have landed somewhere a little more peaceful?

Wouldn't Redo of Healer have been nice?

What was wrong with Heaven's Lost Property?

A battle series where people constantly fought for their lives hardly suited his refined bearing.

Gojo Satoru ranted furiously inside, but his face betrayed nothing. His eyes remained as calm as a lake.

He glanced at the system that had come along with him.

[ Host: Gojo Satoru. World: Naruto. Unlocked template: Satoru Gojo, the pinnacle of combat power in Jujutsu Kaisen. Unlock percentage: 0! Roleplay points: 0!

Once the template reached ten percent progress, he would unlock his first skill, six eyes.

Roleplay points could be exchanged for items in the shop or for template progress.

It took a full 1,000 points to buy a single percent of progress. This system was stingy beyond belief.

The System Shop offered a random selection of items every day.

Only three had appeared today.

An S-rank Sealing Scroll, sweet Three-Color Dango, and Strawberry Cheesecake.

Tch. What good did that do? My roleplay points are still zero. A big, fat zero.

Staring at his pitiful point total, Gojo Satoru started turning things over in his head.

What a coincidence.

My name is Gojo Satoru, and I'm playing Satoru Gojo—the one from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Interesting.

A very real poking sensation came from his cheek. He tilted his head and saw a little boy, just over two years old, persistently prodding his face.

Could this be my big brother, Uchiha Itachi?

The guy who'll wipe out his entire clan someday?

Looks like I'll have to go all out earning roleplay points if I want to live comfortably and stuff myself with sweets in the future.

Nom.

The Three-Color Dango was sweet and smooth, firm and pleasantly chewy with every bite.

Its aroma spread through his mouth, making even the bitterly cold day feel a little warmer.

"Burp."

Gojo Satoru let out a long breath and sprawled contentedly in a chair inside the shop.

On closer inspection, a black blindfold sat beneath his striking white hair, covering most of his face. Dressed in the Uchiha clan outfit with its fan emblem, he slouched without a hint of proper posture.

"Satoru, little kids shouldn't gorge themselves on sweets."

A voice came from the doorway, carrying a touch of sternness mixed with a little childish charm.

The boy stopped there and stared at the pile of empty plates stacked higher than a person on the table, looking distinctly displeased.

"Itachi, don't come in here looking so grumpy. You ate some too, didn't you?"

Gojo Satoru tipped his head back and grumbled, utterly unconcerned.

"Satoru, you should call me big brother."

"I remember your allowance was taken away ages ago."

The creases running down either side of Uchiha Itachi's nose tightened in disapproval as he studied Uchiha Satoru with puzzled eyes.

"Huh? Was it?"

"Now that you mention it, that does ring a bell."

Gojo Satoru nodded dramatically, pushed himself upright with a cheeky grin, and sauntered over to Uchiha Itachi.

"Itachi."

"Are you short on calcium?"

He draped an arm over Itachi's shoulder and put on a thoroughly serious expression.

He was only five, while Itachi was nearly eight, yet-whether because of some genetic mutation or something else-the three-year gap barely showed in their heights.

Ugh.

Satoru, you little...

A vein was practically ready to pop on Uchiha Itachi's forehead.

Equal parts annoyed and amused, he tightened those facial creases, held two fingers together, and flicked them toward Gojo Satoru's forehead.

Just before his fingers made contact...

Whoosh-

Gojo Satoru vanished in a flash.

What?

He disappeared into thin air.

A flicker of surprise passed through Uchiha Itachi's otherwise calm eyes.

But his keen ninja senses, coupled with years of combat experience, quickly picked up Gojo Satoru's presence.

Behind me.

He whipped around. Gojo Satoru was standing casually behind him.

"Hey, Itachi!"

Gojo Satoru waved enthusiastically, a bright smile still plastered across his face.

"You're pretty quick."

A hint of approval softened Uchiha Itachi's stern expression.

He truly hadn't expected Satoru to produce such a burst of speed.

Even he hadn't been able to catch a glimpse of that movement.
