"Then Li Yanzhao was probably killed by a demonic beast in the Demon Abyss, or by someone from the Blazing Sun Sect. Those bastards knew our Heavenly Strategy Academy was in a gap between generations of talent. That's the only reason they dared block our entrance," Gu Qingfeng sneered.
"No matter. Once we've grown stronger, we'll go block the Eight Extremes Sect's passage ourselves," Wu Xiuyuan said with a smile.
They had originally planned to temper themselves in the Demon Abyss and earn some academic credits along the way. With this incident, however, they could not enter at all. "Won't the academy intervene?" Xu Yang asked curiously.
The Demon Abyss was an important source of resources for students of the Middle Court and Upper Court. Now that the passage was blocked, none of the students had any way to train or obtain resources.
