Azure Firmament Heaven.
Green light of jia wood drifted down like leaves, turning into clear qi that swirled overhead and surged upward, greatly enriching the vitality within this grotto-heaven.
Within that boundless green light stood a whitewood shrine, with a mysterious chicken before it and an azure stele rising beside it. All manner of origin wood radiance flowed and transformed here.
The Dawn-Presiding Temple.
The Azure Wood Deity Statue stood before the temple, golden patterns covering its body. Spring, summer, and autumn lay behind it, and now a profound aura of winter's cold and extinction was being nurtured there as well.
The Venerated Deity stood quietly, lifted its eyes toward the heights, and said, "Invocation of Descent."
A fissure abruptly opened in the green light above, resembling both a wound and a doorway. A dark green wind and thunder, chaotic and formless, floated down from within it, landed, and condensed into a Daoist's dharma form.
