The Western Sea, Many Suns Prefecture.
It lay on [Yuyang Continent], in the southern Western Sea, almost an entire ocean away from Sindhu's Twelve Gaya Lands.
Traveling west would bring one to the outer seas, where one could see Flowing Stone, blazing with Bing Fire; Phoenix-Qilin, encircled by Weak Water; and Gathering Grotto, where the Immortal Dao flourished most.
Heavenly light shone intensely over the continent, with long days and short nights. Many towering immortal peaks pierced straight through the clouds, bathed in Heavenly Yang. Upon the central Spirit Mountain stood numerous halls of ancient design.
The sun was the progenitor of the many yangs. This immortal lineage descended directly from the Sun Manor of the Ancient Era. In terms of nobility, apart from lacking a Golden Core cultivator to preside over it, it ranked among the foremost traditions under heaven.
Yet cultivators were seldom seen here. Across this vast continent, almost as large as several commanderies of Great Li, it was mostly mortals who lived and traveled. Only the central [Bright Dawn Mountain] saw cultivators coming and going.
Within the golden hall atop the mountain, Greater Yang radiance surged like a tide, and the sounds of the Dao rumbled. Manifestations of crimson flame trees and Golden Sun Divine Crows shifted and transformed as a young man in golden robes slowly emerged from the hall.
He was tall and elegantly proportioned, handsome and untouched by worldly vulgarity. His eyes gleamed gold, as though sunlight lay hidden within them. His flowing golden robes were exquisite, embroidered with flame trees and Golden Crows.
Li Shangmi, master of the Sword-Cleansing Pavilion of Many Suns Prefecture, was also the world's one and only Greater Yang Sword Immortal.
At his waist hung a brilliant white Spirit Sword, white as fresh snow, with a majestic sword
