The green leaves overhead withered at a speed visible to the naked eye. The heavy radiance of the Pure Land broke free of the Great Void, while Evil Land's voice grew colder still.
Perilous Pass shook. The Golden Thunder Flying Serpent formation flags trembled, and an immense pressure descended from high above, shattering the Great Void inch by inch. Radiance and Brahma Sound poured ceaselessly from within.
The Pure Land seemed alive. Countless golden mouths sprouted along its edges, each lined with beast's teeth, gnawing at everything around them. They devoured every last trace of the thunderclouds and Li radiance overhead, swallowing many heavenly soldiers along with them and reducing them to yellow dust.
Azure Devourer and Vermilion Feaster returned to their positions, taking on beast-headed, human-bodied forms and chanting scriptures. The black locusts beside them shuddered and multiplied ceaselessly, gathering as densely as an ocean tide, their piercing cries echoing without end.
Brahma Sound thundered, and radiance surged into the heavens. The Pure Land descended swiftly. The Great Desert split open, revealing a lightless abyss, from which an exotic beast slowly emerged, vast as a mountain and taller than the clouds.
The beast resembled a sheep, draped in a veil of dust, with horns of bronze and wool cast from gold. Its yellow eyes surveyed the world with cold disdain. Karmic fire condensed into lotus flowers beneath its hooves, bearing it aloft, as though all the world's sinister, gluttonous energies had gathered upon its body.
Its mouth opened slightly, faintly revealing a magnificent, imposing statue of yellow clay within. It softly recited Buddhist words, emanating a nature of purity and freedom, while golden lotuses of vow power blossomed across the ground.
