Space rippled, and Su Ye vanished from where he stood.
Everyone in the Uchiha Clan stared blankly at the spot where Su Ye had suddenly disappeared.
For a moment, they stood dazed. Everything that had just happened felt like a dream.
Yet the Four-Tomoe in Fugaku's and Kagami's eyes told them plainly
that this was far more than a mere illusion.
"Su Ye..."
Just after Su Ye left, a call came from the distance.
A woman in white drifted down from the sky.
Her slender figure was like a fairy from the moon, her beauty peerless.
But her expression was far too indifferent, her exquisite features cold,
giving others the sense that she was impossible to approach.
Yet the moment her gaze found Su Ye,
an undisguisable joy surfaced in her eyes.
In an instant, the icy aura surrounding her began to melt like snow on a mountain.
She broke into a smile like flowers blooming in spring, making everything else pale in comparison.
But a moment later, that smile abruptly froze, for Su Ye had already vanished before her eyes.
"That bastard! How did he run off so fast?!"
Hoshizuki Hyuga stamped her foot in annoyance.
When had the Uchiha ever witnessed such a sight?
One second, she had been a Divine Maiden with an imposing presence.
The next, that goddess-like air vanished without a trace, replaced by something almost girlish.
An Uchiha Clan Elder muttered quietly,
"Isn't that the girl from the Hyuga Clan? Why does she sound like she knows the High God?"
"The High God's surname is Su, too... Could it be...?"
But he dared not pursue that thought.
"Hyuga Clan Head, were you looking for Lord Su? He just left."
The current Uchiha clan head dared not neglect her either. He gestured and spoke politely.
